It traces Don’s involvement in the skate scene and how he turned his two passions, skating and illustration, into a successful career. For me, it’s an example of the concept of doing what you love/loving what you do.

My afternoons have become a bit of a skate boot camp since I got my first skateboard 3 months ago. I’ve been using my lunch to learn to skate and I have to say, it can be frustrating and downright painful learning to ollie when you’re 28.

Though I haven’t mastered the ollie, I have learned that skating is as much about the crew you roll with as it is the activity itself. If it wasn’t for the guys I skate with, including crazy wicked photographer/designer, Greg Washington (pictured), skateboarding would just be sore feet and scraped shoes.
