Starting in May you can purchase music from EMI without any DRM from iTunes. The content will be at a higher-quality and a higher price point ($1.29 vs $0.99). If EMI can garner enough sales, which I think they will, I’m sure the other major labels will follow. (thx Kottke!)
The NY Times is reporting that shot codes, a method to transmit media to your mobile phone by scanning them, may be taking off in the Americas soon.
