The Cool Kids are a hip-hop duo from Illinois. The duo consists of Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish originally from Detroit. Their single “Black Mags” is featured in a late 2007 Rhapsody TV commercial. The Cool Kids have been and currently are on tour with M.I.A. They have also been featured in the video game NBA 2k9 as well as MLB 2K8 with the song “88”, and in season 4 episode 2 “The First Cut Is the Deepest” of HBO’s Entourage with the song “Mikey Rocks”. They say that their influences are 1980’s and 1990’s rap.
