Favorite Things: Bodum Shin Bistro Press

My good friend, Heather, raves about her buddy’s little resto in Parkdale, Cafe Taste, who’s owner’s passion for French press coffee runs very deep. When I visited and had a cup (or 3) I just assumed it was an arduous process because the coffee tasted better than any cup I’ve ever had. The aroma, richness and density was suddenly made apparent to me. It was like drinking Coke Pepsi for the first time when I was seven.

Thanks to Bodum’s Shin Bistro though I’m enjoying some of that great coffee everyday at work. There’s also something nice about not going down to Starbucks to have your coffee made but instead watching the grains blend with hot water (for exactly 4 minutes) before pouring yourself a nice cup*.

I strongly recommend anyone who enjoys coffee to pick one up.

*Not more than a cup a day though.
