Welcome, Carlos Delfino
It’s not often that a hypothetical trade that you talk about amongst friends actually materializes. Especially when the trade doesn’t involve a star player. However, ESPN is reporting that Carlos Delfino has been acquired by my beloved Raps for a couple of draft picks.
Delfino is an explosive guard/forward combo guard who can get to the rim and he’s a tough-nosed defender. I loathed his presence more than anything when the Raps played the Pistons because, despite their amazing starting five, I felt Delfino was always the disruptor who threw off the Raps when they were making runs against that Pistons’ D.
This is just another solid pick-up from Bryan Colangelo (and not just because I called it.)
